LPG, as a clean fuel is in increased demand. Indian governments so far has restricted use of LPG for reasons like infrastructure bottlenecks and because of their subsidy policy. However, with the removal of APM, the removal of controls on LPG is also on the cards. With the huge demand supply gap, the distribution infrastructure has to be increased. Private players like SHV Energy, Caltex, Mobil Peeves, Elf Gas have already put infrastructure put in place but facing hurdle because of subsidy policies.
